Buddha on a train

'Merci!' is a short film by Christine Rabette. Winner of the 2003 Golden Wave for best Short Film (Court-Métrage). ‘Bodhisattva in Metro’ as it's also known, has struck a cord with many who have had the privilege to view it. Everybody who see's this film is likely to have a slightly different interpretation of what it represents. The woman with the book in her hand is the director Christine Rabette. This film was based on an actual event Christine experienced will riding the metro in Paris during rush hour.
